Get EMail/SMS/RSS alerts when your site/server goes down
Site24x7 instantly alerts you whenever your website or
web application goes down or encounters any trouble. We offer 3 types
of notifications - email, SMS and RSS.
Email Alerts
We send a 'Down' alert whenever your site goes down and an 'Up' alert
when it comes back up. Setting up email notifications is quick and easy.
All you need to do is add email addresses to the email contact list and
associate them to your website monitor.
To add email contacts, navigate to 'Alerts' tab in your account and click
'Add Email Contact'. By default, your login email address will be present
as an email contact. You can add any number of additional email contacts.
To associate email contacts to the monitor, navigate to the 'Advanced
Configuration->Send Alerts to' section of the monitor details and select
the relevant email.
A typical email notification includes the name of the website, monitoring
interval, downtime details, reason for downtime, response time chart,
uptime/downtime chart and the appropriate error message.
SMS Alerts
Site24x7 uses the sms services offered by Clickatell.
We support text messaging to all networks supported by Clickatell worldwide.
Every Site24x7 account comes with 10 free SMS credits.
Setting up SMS notification is simple and can be done easily. All you
need to do is add your mobile numbers to the sms contact list and associate
them to your website monitor.
To add SMS contacts, navigate to 'Alerts' tab in your Site24x7 account
and click 'Add SMS Contact'. To associate SMS contacts to your website/monitor,
