Business Requirement:
We require a custom report in Site24x7 that provides a consolidated inventory view of all monitored assets across the environment. The report should support export to Excel/CSV for audit, CMDB reconciliation, operational review, and management reporting purposes.
Current Limitation:
The existing inventory reports are segmented by monitor type and do not provide a single consolidated view containing common inventory attributes across all monitored resources.
Requested Enhancement:
Provide a custom inventory report that includes all monitor types in a single report with the following common fields:
- Monitor Name
- Monitor Type
- IP Address
- Display Name
- Monitor Group
- Tag(s)
- Customer/Site Name
- Status
- Resource Type
- Location/Site
- Associated Device Group
- Configuration Profile (if applicable)
- Last Poll Time
- Creation Date
- Monitor ID
Expected Benefits:
- Simplifies CMDB reconciliation activities.
- Supports audit and compliance reviews.
- Enables inventory validation across Servers, Network Devices, Websites, Cloud Resources, Databases, and Applications.
- Eliminates manual effort of exporting and combining multiple reports.
- Provides a single source of truth for monitored assets.

Thank you for the detailed write-up. The current limitation is well articulated, and the list of common attributes you've called out (Monitor Name, Monitor Type, IP Address, Display Name, Monitor Group, Tag(s), Customer/Site Name, Status, Resource Type, Location/Site, Associated Device Group, Configuration Profile, Last Poll Time, Creation Date, and Monitor ID) gives us a clear, concrete set of fields to work from.
These attributes are exactly what's under internal discussion right now, as we look at how to support a single consolidated inventory view across all monitor types rather than the current type-segmented reports.
We'll have to ask for your patience as this is still being evaluated, but we'll share an update here once there's progress to report. You may expect this enhancement to be available by around Q4.
Appreciate the thorough breakdown it makes this much easier to scope internally.
