Introducing Guidance Report for Azure

Greetings,

Get a set of best practice checks to increase reliability, enable fault tolerance, and optimize costs associated with your Azure services and get the most out of your cloud investment.

Metrics-based practices will be calculated with the data collected during the Azure monitor's data collection. For the other practices, on-demand Azure API calls will be made and checked if the data is in line with the practice.

Highlights:

  • Currently, our report only offers recommendation checks for select Azure services—Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Public IP Address, Azure App Service Plan, Azure Web App, and Azure Function App.
Note: We will be adding support for all services soon. To add any new service, please drop in a mail to support@site24x7.com
  • The recommendations are segregated by severity (High, Moderate, Low), represented by a color code.
  • You can choose to schedule the Azure guidance report and receive email notifications for the same.

Get Started

In the Site24x7 web client, go to Azure > Guidance Report and click on Enable Guidance Report.

Note: For newly integrated Azure accounts, it'll take around one hour to build the guidance report.
