Thanks for bringing in your query here.
Yes. We support monitoring internal DNS server. You will have to
add an On-Premise Poller first and this will get added to the
monitoring locations list. You can then go ahead and add the DNS
monitor with the Poller location selected in the Location Profile.

so i have added a DNS monitor with the following
- DNS Host - internal DNS servers
- Domain name - internal domain name (pilot.local)
- Lookup type - A
- Search field - record name
- Search value - hostname of internal DNS
I guess I am doing this incorrectly as it fails?
